Within the unified informing day, the Chairman of the State Committee on science and technology of Belarus Alexander Shumilin met with the leadership and employees of IPower LLC.

During the meeting they discussed issues of implementation of the project for the construction of a battery plant and environmental safety.

When designing the construction of a battery plant were taken into account all the requirements of the environmental legislation on the emission of pollutants into the environment and requirements for the disposal of sewage. There are plans to organize local monitoring at the Facility including: sources of lead emissions into the air, land (including soils) in the area of the factory (lead content).

When carrying out the state ecological examination it is established that the solutions contained in the construction project meet all the requirements of regulatory legal acts and technical normative legal acts in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.

In connection with concern on the impact of plant activity on the environment of the inhabitants of Brest and district were called scientists who have given comments as a matter of construction. The experts were: Oleg A. White (academic Secretary of State scientific institution "Centre of system analysis and strategic research of NAS of Belarus", candidate of technical Sciences, associate Professor), Dobrego Kirill Viktorovich (doctor of physico-mathematical Sciences, Dean of energy faculty of BNTU), lugovskii Alexander (associate Professor, candidate of chemical Sciences, Deputy Director of the scientific-methodological institution of the Belarusian state University "Republican centre for human problems"), etc.

Also, on the initiative of LLC "IPower", FEZ administration has initiated further independent monitoring on the effects of FEZ enterprises on pollution of soil and vegetation with heavy metals. To perform additional independent, and thennga contracted with the institution "Polessky agrarian-ecological Institute NAS of Belarus", which will monitor the condition of soils and vegetation for the presence of heavy metals for 5 years after commissioning of the plant.

Today, we offer technological solutions, including environmental safety and environmental protection, are the best in Europe, tested and well established on the production capacities of the company Centra in Poland, TAB (Slovenia) and other major battery manufacturers from EU countries.
