"IPower" LLC is preparing for commissioning

The production plant of a full range of maintenance-free starter lead-acid batteries for cars and trucks, buses and automotive equipment, IPower LLC is preparing to start its operations in may 2019. Currently, the company is in the process of commissioning in the order that has been established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, after which it will start its production activities.

The project for the construction of a battery plant is included in the State program of innovative development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016 — 2020 years, as well as in a list of projects that are crucial for innovation development of the Republic of Belarus (decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus from 14.09.2017 No. 693). The construction of a battery plant in the territory of FEZ Brest platform "Airport" began in late 2017.

The battery factory project has passed the ecological state expertise, state construction expert examination and public ecological examination of changes and additions to the project documentation. For the project in terms of construction enterprises all permits and urban planning documentation were obtained: resolution of local Executive and administrative body for the design and construction of the project, a positive conclusion of the state construction and environmental expertise in respect of project documentation, conclusion of the state construction supervision on the construction works, a temporary permit to emissions of polluting substances in atmospheric air.

In the implementation of the construction control and supervision over the performance of work in accordance with legislative requirements and approved design solutions, carried out by bodies of the Ministry of emergency situations, State construction supervision and organization performing the functions of technical supervision over construction.

As 12.04.2019 at IPower LLC all the technological equipment and engineering infrastructure connected to the electricity, water, air, gas. Integrated testing of process equipment has been complited and designspecific systems in use, provided the requirements of the technological process, materials and components. The results of the complex testing of the technological equipment and engineering systems confirmed the compliance of all the design documentation of operating parameters.

 The work on certification of installed ventilation systems has been completed. During the commissioning of works, an accredited organization was performed to check the efficiency of gas treatment units, measurements of emissions from the scrubbers (emission sources). Produced studies have shown that the parameters of the gas cleaning systems meet the design performance and technical data manufacturers. Maximum permissible concentrations and emissions are consistent with the design factors contained in the passports of the enterprises-manufacturer and design documentation, as well as within the emission limit values established for the company.

At the moment the company produces staff training, including with the involvement of representatives of manufacturers of equipment such as Sovema (Italy), Accurate Product (Denmark), La Pneumatica (Italy), OMI (Italy), Sanhuane (China). Representatives of the companies-manufacturers will follow, IPower during the warranty period of service: participate in control of work equipment, staff training, technical and technological support of the equipment.

In accordance with the requirements of part 1 of article 20 of the Regulations on the commissioning of construction objects, approved by the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 06.06.2011 N 716, in the course of commissioning the constructed plant will be obtained opinion from the relevant state bodies on the match objectand the requirements of permits, design documentation and safety requirements and operational reliability. After completion of the process of acceptance of construction of the plant  IPower LLC will begin to implement production activities for the production of batteries.
