On the 5 of December the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Andrei Khudyk Held a Personal Reception of Citizens, Their Representatives and Representatives of Legal Entities, That was Hold in the Environmental Department.

Received during the reception of citizens of appeals and suggestions related to the issues of rational use of natural resources, state ecological examination, compliance of environmental legislation during the removal of flora objects, order of issue of special permissions (licenses) for the activities associated with the use of natural resources and impact on the environment and others. At the reception, the Minister met with the initiative group of four persons on the plant batteries on the territory of FEZ "Brest".
In addition, the meeting was attended by representatives of the customer of construction of the plant LLC "IPower", all stakeholders involved in the development of project documentation and evaluation report on the environmental impact the construction of the production batteries, experts and representatives of organizations of the Ministry of environment and Ministry of health. Since the meeting, the Minister has appealed to activists asking articulate questions and the constructive dialogue that excludes the repeated appeals that had already been given a full written and oral responses previously. At the same time, a number of issues were raised by the citizens again. Andrei Khudyk listened carefully to interested applicants questions.
The main topics discussed during a long and fruitful conversation was the topic of observance of requirements of environmental legislation during the construction of the plant batteries of LLC "IPower". The Minister Pobladogave the activists of the initiative group for the indifferent attitude to environmental issues and noted that a number of facts already taken into account by the specialists of the environmental Agency, and a number of new deserves further consideration.
Some of the questions were explained during the reception. "With the passage of ecological examination of the project of the battery plant for the amendments, which is currently pending in the Republican center of the state ecological examination and improvement of professional skill of executives and experts, responsible officials would be taken into account all comments and suggestions from the public and experts on this subject, — said in conclusion of the meeting Andrei Khudyk. — The plant will not be commissioned, if it does not meet the stated project documentation that passed the state ecological expertise, and therefore environmental legislation".
All requests received from citizens during the admission and require additional study, will be considered in accordance with legislation.
