ZUBR — “Brand of the Year 2025”: Gold Medal in the “Batteries” Category

The ZUBR battery ranked 1st and received the Gold Medal of the “Brand of the Year 2025” Award based on a nationwide consumer preference study conducted in Belarus.

According to the Organizing Committee of the professional “Brand of the Year” competition, the ZUBR brand took first place in the “Batteries” product category and was awarded the Gold Medal of the “Brand of the Year 2025” Award. The result was based on a nationwide consumer preference study in Belarus carried out in November–December 2025.

The awards ceremony took place on 29 January 2026.

ZUBR is one of the most recognizable battery brands in Belarus, with a history of more than 25 years. The ZUBR trademark was registered in December 1999, and the first wholesale shipment followed in January 2000. Export deliveries began in 2007; in 2009, the brand entered European markets; and in 2017, expanded to African markets. In 2010, the first 100,000 ZUBR batteries were sold; in 2014, ZUBR made its first supply to a Volkswagen assembly line; and in 2015, sales reached 1 million units. The product range includes solutions for different vehicle types and operating conditions, including WET, AGM, EFB, GEL, and Li-ion technologies.

ZUBR’s achievements are also confirmed by other awards: “People’s Brand of Belarus” (2021) and “Brand of the Year” in the “Batteries” category (2022).
