ZUBR ENERGY — Serial Production of PzS Traction Batteries

The 1AK-ZUBR plant (Zubr Energy LLC) has launched serial production of PzS traction batteries designed for electric forklifts, warehouse vehicles, municipal equipment and specialized industrial machinery.

ZUBR ENERGY — Serial Production of PzS Traction Batteries - 1The batteries are manufactured using tubular positive plates with capacities ranging from 80 to 155 Ah, covering models from 2PzS 160 to 8PzS 1240. Battery systems are assembled in voltage configurations from 24 V to 80 V, or any other voltage combination in 2-volt increments, depending on customer requirements.

The battery cases are made of metal with a special acid-resistant, impact-resistant polymer coating to prevent corrosion. The design includes lead terminals with brass inserts and standardized intercell connectors, ensuring high cycle durability, ease of maintenance and full compatibility with DIN PzS standards.

1AK-ZUBR is the first battery manufacturing plant in the Republic of Belarus and remains the country’s largest and one of its most advanced battery production facilities. The plant operates a full-cycle manufacturing process — from the production of lead plates and starter batteries (including EFB and AGM) to the assembly of traction cells and DIN-standard battery systems.
