THE DIALOGUE OF SCIENCE AND BUSINESS

May 29, 2018 in the walls of the Belarusian national technical University was held the seminar on the theme "Opportunities and prospects for the use of batteries in the energy and other sectors of the economy." On the basis of BNTU representatives of the academic community, and representatives of industry and energetic complex exchange of expert views on the prospects for, development and production of batteries in Belarus.

At the seminar reports were made by the representatives of the energy Department of the Belarusian national technical University: Dobrego K. V., Nagornov V. N. and Manzurova T. f; Czerwinski V. L. from the faculty of management technology and humanization (BNTU FTP), V. P. Novikov Institute of problems of materials science, and Dragun A. A. of gap "Belenergo. Among the participants there were also representatives of OOO "PAC-management", LLC "Keiji Impeks, OOO for Advanced research and technology", the representative of NRU NIPFP them. A. N. Sevchenko of BSU and Bel FS.
"The growth of interest in this topic is now rapid as in the countries of the former Soviet Union and in the world. Specialists in batteries in Belarus is not much, but despite this the community has managed to gain some experience, make a number of scientific developments that are appropriate and applicable. Today's meeting is a measure of the mutual interest of business, science, government industry, as well as the opportunity to exchange views on prospects of application of drives in the energy industry," notes Kirill Dobrego, Dean of energy faculty of the BNTU.
The main task facing the scientists working on issues of electrochemical energy storage systems is the lengthening of the life cycle of batteries. In Belarus there are already existing developments and understanding of how to achieve this result, from a scientific point of view. But it is also important and the ability to implement these decisions in life, thus reducing cost of the system of accumulation of energy, making them affordable for businesses and households. This task falls on the shoulders of business. And of course, for the full implementation of this idea requires withSovershenstvovanie of the Belarusian legislation in the field of energy and energy consumption.
The meeting participants proposed to join forces and develop a common plan of development of production of batteries and extend their scope. This will allow you to solve a number of economic, social and scientific objectives: import substitution and development of export-oriented production with high added value, providing industry domestic intermediate goods (batteries).
"Cooperation between business and scientific community allows for the accumulation of experience and knowledge that contribute to the development of the energy sector in Belarus. From our point of view, it is important to support the Belarusian national projects. We know where to take technology and how to use them correctly. I would like to interested industry and the scientific community has formulated specific objectives, and we will look for ways of their solution", — said Andrey Ginzburg, "Keiji Impeks".
In conclusion, the participants of the seminar had been prepared the final document reflecting the views of the expert community about the prospects of development of the industry of energy storages in Belarus.
