ZUBR is the main and most recognizable battery brand of 1AK-GROUP. The brand history begins with the registration of the trademark in December 1999 and the first wholesale shipments in January 2000.
ZUBR became a brand associated with the development of Belarusian battery production in the domestic and export markets. The first foreign deliveries began in 2007, entry into the European market took place in 2009, and deliveries to Africa began in 2017.
In 2010, the first 100,000 ZUBR batteries were sold; in 2014, the first supply to the Volkswagen assembly line took place; and in 2015, brand sales reached 1 million batteries.
ZUBR was recognized as the “People’s Brand of Belarus” in the battery category and as “Brand of the Year”. These awards confirm brand recognition and consumer trust.
