The premium class includes SLI, EFB and AGM technology versions. Depending on the product line, ExMet and Punch technologies, reinforced plates, advanced separator materials, fast charge acceptance solutions and extended service-life solutions are used.
Premium batteries are suitable for modern passenger cars, vehicles with Start-Stop systems, commercial vehicles, SUVs and equipment with increased requirements for power-source reliability.
SLI is the classic starter battery version for starting the engine and powering lighting and onboard vehicle equipment. In the premium class, these batteries are designed for higher starting currents, extended service life and stable operation in different climatic conditions.
Premium SLI batteries are suitable for vehicles with high starting-power requirements but without the need for EFB or AGM versions.

EFB is an enhanced flooded version of a starter lead-acid battery for vehicles with increased electrical load. Unlike classic SLI batteries, EFB batteries are designed not only for engine starting, but also for more frequent charge-discharge cycles, operation under partial state-of-charge conditions and increased onboard electrical load.
Structurally, EFB batteries feature reinforced plates, improved active-mass fixation, higher cycle durability and better charge acceptance. In selected product lines, carbon additives in the active mass, special separator materials and technological solutions that reduce sulfation are used.
EFB batteries are suitable for vehicles with Start-Stop systems, frequent short trips, urban operation and a large number of energy consumers. In the 1AK-GROUP catalog, EFB product lines are available for passenger cars, JIS / Asia vehicles and the Heavy-Duty / Truck segment.

AGM is a sealed VRLA battery version with absorbed electrolyte. In these batteries, the electrolyte is held in a fiberglass separator, and the design is intended for operation under high load and frequent charge-discharge cycles.
AGM batteries are used in vehicles with a high level of electrical equipment, Start-Stop systems, energy recuperation and increased safety requirements. They are highly resistant to vibration, perform better under intensive operating conditions and are suitable for equipment where service life, safety and stable energy output are important.
