Economy-class starter batteries are designed for vehicles with a basic and standard level of electrical equipment. These are rational solutions for everyday operation where affordability, reliable starting and clear cost of ownership are important.
The economy class is suitable for vehicles without increased requirements for cycle life, Start-Stop systems and a large number of energy consumers. The main technology version in this segment is SLI.
Economy-class SLI batteries cover the basic tasks of a starter battery: engine starting, powering lighting and standard vehicle electrical equipment. This is a suitable solution for the mass segment, vehicles with standard load and regular everyday operation.
Depending on the brand and product line, batteries are produced in European, East Asian and heavy-duty sizes. This segment uses proven design solutions, ExMet technology and Ca/Ca technology in selected product lines.
