1AK-GROUP develops and manufactures battery energy storage systems based on Li-Ion / LFP technologies, as well as hybrid solutions. The direction is developed on the basis of 1AK-LI-ION, a research and production center that combines R&D, engineering development, assembly, testing and support of battery systems.
Energy storage systems are used where electricity needs to be stored, redistributed or used at the right moment: for backup power, solar generation, buffer systems, hybrid power supply schemes, industrial facilities, telecom infrastructure, social facilities, private homes and remote sites.
The 1AK-LI-ION production base includes 25 production posts, an area of 1,000 m² and assembly capacity of up to 100 MWh of battery solutions per year. The center performs cell selection, battery configuration design, battery management system (BMS) integration, mechanical assembly, cable routing, testing and quality control.
1AK-GROUP ESS can be developed as standard solutions or as project battery systems according to facility parameters: required power, energy reserve, charge and discharge mode, temperature conditions, communication interfaces, safety requirements and integration with external equipment.
An energy storage system is selected not only by battery capacity, but also by execution format. Depending on the task, the solution can be modular, cabinet-type, containerized or home-based.
| Format | Applications |
|---|---|
| Modular ESS | Backup power, buffer systems, integration into engineering and battery systems |
| Cabinet solutions | Industrial and engineering facilities where battery modules must be placed in a cabinet |
| Containerized ESS | Energy facilities, industry, remote sites, hybrid schemes with the grid, diesel generators and solar generation |
| Home ESS | Private homes, backup power, operation with solar panels and inverter |
An energy storage system is designed as an integrated solution. Depending on the task, it may include battery modules, BMS, switching equipment, protective elements, a case, cabinet or container, cable routing, monitoring interfaces and equipment for integration with the facility’s energy infrastructure.
| System element | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Battery modules | Energy storage and output |
| BMS | Battery parameter control, protection, balancing |
| Case / cabinet / container | Placement of modules and protection of components |
| Switching and protection | Safe connection and system operation |
| Communication interfaces | Data exchange with external systems and monitoring |
| Cable routing | Electrical connection of system components |
| Climate control system | Maintaining operating temperature conditions, if provided by the project |
| Monitoring system | Control of battery status, charge, emergency modes and operating parameters |
| Integration with the facility | Connection to the grid, inverter, solar generation, diesel generator, industrial or home infrastructure |
1AK-GROUP energy storage systems may use modular Li-Ion solutions, rack-mounted battery modules and project battery assemblies. Selection is based on required voltage, capacity, operating mode, operating conditions and placement format.
