adaptation

1AK-GROUP develops battery solutions for electric vehicles and electric transport. Such projects require not only battery assembly, but also engineering adaptation to a specific platform: voltage, capacity, weight, layout, temperature range, BMS, safety and data exchange with the vehicle.

In 2025, 1AK-GROUP produced a pilot-industrial batch of traction LFP batteries for the Belarusian Belgee EX50 electric vehicle. This project demonstrates the holding’s ability to work not only with standard battery solutions, but also with complex tasks for electric transport.

EV batteries are designed with regard to platform requirements, driving mode, charging infrastructure, temperature conditions and safety requirements. Solutions may include BMS, active balancing, telemetry, a metal case and project-specific cable routing.

Solutions

Example of an EV solution

Model / project Voltage Capacity Features Temperature range Cycle life Application
ZUBR Li-Ion BelGee 307 V 54 kWh EV BMS, active balancing -20…+60°C 3000+ cycles BelGee electric vehicles, special projects

What is considered when developing an EV battery

Parameter What is important
Voltage Compatibility with the vehicle electric platform
Energy capacity Driving range and operating mode
Weight and dimensions Placement in the vehicle body and impact on vehicle balance
BMS Control, protection, balancing and data exchange
Temperature range Operation in seasonal and climatic conditions
Safety Protection against emergency modes and battery condition monitoring
Charging infrastructure Compatibility with charging equipment
Serial status Prototype, pilot batch, industrial supply

How to choose a Li-Ion solution

A Li-Ion battery solution is selected not only by capacity. Correct configuration requires consideration of application, voltage, operating mode, placement conditions, BMS requirements and the level of integration into equipment.

Selection criterion What to consider
Application Urban mobility, modular system, battery block, electric vehicle
Voltage Equipment or project requirements
Capacity Required operating time or energy reserve
Chemical system Li-Ion / LFP — according to safety, service-life and operating-mode requirements
BMS Protection, balancing, monitoring, data exchange
Dimensions and weight Installation space and layout requirements
Temperature range Operating and storage conditions
Interfaces CAN / RS485 / telemetry — if required
Project status Standard solution, prototype or custom development

For compact electric equipment and urban mobility, weight, dimensions, service life and safe charging are important. For modular solutions and battery cabinets, scalability, parameter control and integration into an engineering system are important. For electric vehicles and special-purpose electric transport, project adaptation, BMS operation, temperature range and platform requirements are important.

For electric vehicles and special-purpose electric transport – design adaptation, BMS operation, temperature control, and platform requirements.
