Quality

Particular attention is paid to both the design of batteries according to individual customer requirements and to ensuring high quality and reliability of batteries and energy storage systems.


High quality and reliability of LI-ION batteries is achieved through a variety of control and inspection measures at various stages of production - from cell manufacturing to shipment of finished batteries. Violations of parameters and criteria are not allowed.

Quality control at the cell manufacturer:


Quality control and inspection activities at the 1AK-LI-ION assembly plant:

  • Sorting of elements within one batch — using cells from one batch with the minimum possible variation in parameters in each individual battery.
  • Double tightening of bolted connections with torque wrenches with application of control marks.
  • Control of correct connection of the BMS system to the cells, control of cell parameters after assembly, active balancing (gross balance) with specialized devices.
  • Output control of battery parameters in the form of 3-10 charge-discharge cycles at maximum operating modes (hourly discharge, two-hour charge) with control of actual capacity, temperature of units (using a thermal imager).

Independent audits at suppliers' production facilities

  • Testing each battery at maximum operating conditions, monitoring electrical parameters, thermal imaging control.
  • Internal audits at production facilities, shipment control.
  • Development and implementation of production regulations.
  • Support for clients and batteries after the transaction.
  • Support for concluding service contracts for equipment/batteries.
